Personal data we process

Blooming Publicity processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself.

Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

  • First and last name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • IP address
  • Other personal data you actively provide, for example by requesting a free e-book, filling in a form, buying something, creating a profile on this website, for the execution of an assignment, in correspondence and by telephone
  • Location details
  • Data about your activities on our website
  • Data about your e-mail activities, such as opening e-mails and clicking on links

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data on website visitors who are under 16 years of age. Unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children's online activities to avoid collecting data on children without parental consent. For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data

Blooming Publicity processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Informing you about changes to our services and products
  • Offering you the opportunity to create an account
  • To deliver goods and services to you
  • Blooming Publicity analyses your behaviour on the website in order to improve the website and tailor the offer of products and services to your preferences.
  • Blooming Publicity also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data we need for our tax return.

Automated decision-making

Blooming Publicity does not make decisions based on automated processing about matters that could (significantly) affect individuals. These are decisions made by computer programmes or systems, without a person (e.g. an employee of Blooming Publicity) being involved.

How long we keep personal data

Blooming Publicity will not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to realise the purposes for which your data is collected.

Email list

If you are on the e-mail list, you will receive updates about new blog articles, among other things. You can unsubscribe at any time if you no longer wish to receive these mails with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each mail.

If you do not read the mails for a few months you will automatically be unsubscribed from the email list.

Unsubscribed e-mail addresses and all associated data are removed from the system on a monthly basis.

Data clients and potential clients

Data of clients and potential clients are always kept, unless it is agreed that the data will be deleted earlier. These include completed forms, e-mails, quotations, call notes, log-in data, logbook of work performed, invoices.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Blooming Publicity shares your personal data with various third parties if this is necessary to execute the agreement and to comply with any legal obligation. We conclude a processor's agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Blooming Publicity remains responsible for this processing.

To process personal data, Blooming Publicity uses systems, companies and organisations that protect their data properly and comply with the GDPR/AVG:

View, modify or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Blooming Publicity and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have on you in a computer file to you or another organisation named by you.

You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to contact@metgemakinhetnieuws.nl/en.

To ensure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

Blooming Publicity takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification.
